Registration Open for Summer Workshop — The Sketchbook: Thoughts and Actions.

I’m pleased to announce there are a few spaces still available in our second summer workshop this year which will be held July 29 – August 2, 2019.

Detailed discussion of the workshop is included in this PDF brochure Sketchbook Workshops_2019. The brochure also includes the registration form.

The workshop is appropriate for the beginner as well as intermediate and advanced book binders. All levels welcome, and each will find ample inspiration. Hand skills from any discipline are helpful, but bookbinding experience is not required

The workshops are filling quickly, so let us know via text, phone or email your desire to attend.

We will take your reservation in the order received, first come, first served. This will hold a space for you for ten days from the date of receipt of your reservation request, which will be acknowledged via reply to your text, phone call, or email.

Receipt of your non-refundable deposit and registration form within ten days will guarantee your place. At the end of ten days, if we don’t have your deposit and registration form, we will release your reservation and open your space to another participant. See details in the brochure PDF linked above.

I’ve been keeping sketchbooks since my college days and have now filled over 150 of them. Why? A sketchbook is a tool for an artist — a tool which helps us bring our work into reality and explore areas where we may want to work. (You can read the first of my blog posts about sketchbooks here.)

Also check out this time-lapse video from last year’s workshop which will give you a feel for the space and the work.

Hope to see you in Colfax!
